CLEAR YOUR SPACE, FREE YOUR MIND

  • Knowing the paperwork to keep for tax purposes can be difficult.  When sorting through home office paperwork refer to the latest guidelines from the IRS if you need help deciding what to keep.
  • Children’s artwork can be stored in your child’s room under the bed in a clean pizza box.  Display a few special ones and when the box is full, go thru it with your child and pick out a few favorites as keepsakes
  • Store all coupons in a small pendaflex file and leave it in your glove box of your car.  You will never be without them!
  • When deciding what to do with your items, ask yourself, “What purpose does this item serve in my life?”, “Does it make me feel good?”, “Have I used it in the past year?”. If you decide to keep that item make sure that you honor it with a home or a use.
  • Organizing can be daunting, start small (a drawer or cabinet), Be sure to remain positive with yourself and remember it did not get this way overnight so it might take a while to complete the project.
  • If your project becomes too much for you to handle alone, call a professional.  Not only does it get done twice as fast, but it can actually be fun too!
